SHRM National Conference and Building a Smarter Workforce

Starting next Sunday, June 28, I will be attending the SHRM National Conference in Las Vegas. I am going at a member of the official blogger team for SHRM. In that capacity I will be live Tweeting from the keynote presentations and selected concurrent sessions. I will be posting blog discussions once or twice each day summarizing events. I will also discuss the extensive exhibit hall, as I feel one of the most valuable things an attendee can do is visit vendors. I will be one of 50 or so official bloggers in attendance and we will all have different takes and points of views on the speakers, sessions and events that are occurring.
I encourage you to follow along on Twitter. The way you to do that is by searching for the hashtags #SHRM15 and #SHRM15blogger. Of course you can always follow me, my Twitter handle is @mikehaberman.

Additionally, I will be participating in a Twitter discussion on June 29 on The Future of Work. This area is a passion of mine, which if you read my Future Friday posts you already know. Sponsored by IBM Kenexa the session is called Building a Smarter Workforce: What is the future of HR? It is hosted by Brian Moran and I will be joined in the discussion by Janine Truitt. Brian is the CEO and founder of Brian Moran and Associates. He is an entrepreneur and small business expert. Janine is the Chief Innovations Officer for Talent Think Innovations, LLC a Talent Management Consulting firm. Broadly based in HR, she is an expert in recruitment and talent management. She blogs at The Aristocracy of HR.
You can follow our discussion with the hashtag #SmarterWorkforce. It should be very interesting.
