  1. Is that true that the flu can be claimed as a work illness? What about in retail when we have several hundred customers who can bring it in. It would be hard to prove if it was from one of them or another associate who brought the virus in.

      It is indeed going to be hard to prove, yet that is the direction that OSHA seems to be headed in. It is not a done deal yet, but regulations may be written to provide for such an event. Stay tuned.
